The iconic pastry shop

Dulce de Leche is an iconic place in the city. You can find amazing sandwiches, empanadas, croissants and a very wide range of pastries. All of the products are made in DDL's own workshop, without additives or preservatives and always looking for the best flavor.

The founder, Elisabet, who was born in Argentina and with German origins, already opened her first pastry shop in Córdoba, Argentina in 1990. In 2000, in the middle of the Argentine crisis, she decided to move with her family, experience and good taste in pastry to Spain with the intention of starting a new path. After her arrival, he discovered that Dulce de leche, an Argentine delicacy (close to caramel) is unknown in Valencia.

Elisabet, with an unstoppable attitude, was acquiring a large amount of pastry knowledge in a self-taught way. Reading books and experimenting different recipes, together with her creativity and the mixture of cultures, led to the today's concepts of Dulce de Leche. In 2003, Elisabet with the help of her children opened her own pastry shop, which soon had a great boom.
