Café Infanta

- Barrio El Carmen -

In the heart of El Carmen

Café Infanta is stunning bar in the heart of Barrio El Carmen, offering tapas, lunch and dinner, coctails and all type of a drinks all day long. One of the best place to try the iconic Valencian coctail, Agua de Valencia.

For us there is a serious emotional value of this place. When we arrived at the very first time in Valencia, after 3 days of driving from Budapest, on a mild January evening, in 2022, we have just checked-in to our accomodation, were very tired and hungry. So we went just down to the street to find the first place to eat. We reached Plaza del Tossal where we found this Café open and surprisingly almost full. So for us, this is and always will be the number one tapas bar in Valencia.

The bar itself was opened in 1992. A commitment to history and nostalgia as in its foundations there are remanis of the ancient Arabian city wall. This gave the opportunity to decorate the café with a touch of antiquity.
