The converted monastery
The Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporánia (CCCC) is an old convent rehabilitated for cultural use. Its aim to host a wide spectrum of contemporary art. The building is made up of several parts such as the medieval chapel, the Valencian Gothic cloister, the Renaissance cloister and the new church, today the parish church of Santa Cruz, a baroque facade and bell tower and many other.
In the first half of the 19th century it was confiscated and since then the building has housed various civil institutions (Museo del Carmen, Royal Academy of Fine Art of San Carlos, Museum of Fine Arts etc.).

- The CCCC has a permanent collection of contemporary art, as well as a number of temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
- The CCCC is a popular tourist destination, and is visited by over 1 million people each year.
- The CCCC was founded in 1983, and underwent a major renovation in 2017.
