You can buy public transportation tickets at all 'Tabacos' shops throughout the city. You purchase a rechargeable card with, for example, 10 rides loaded onto it. The card itself costs 2€, and 10 rides cost 4€. You can easily top up this card whenever needed. Just stop by an Estanco, and it will be taken care of. However, please note that cash payment is often the only accepted method for purchasing tickets and rides.
