The museum is dedicated to science, technology and the environment, located in the City of Arts and Sciences. Opened to the public in 2000. It has a total of 26,000 sqm of exhibitions, both temporary and permanent exhibitions. It also has classrooms and terraces, indoors and outdoors, which are used for educational workshops and activities. It is also a venue for various social and cultural events in the city. It has a view on the Turia Gardens and it surrouds by 13,500 sqm of water pond.
Interactive exhibitions
The museum became a reference point for interactive science. Its main objective is stumulating curiosity and critical thinking and at the same time surprising and amusing the visitors.
The second floor hosts “The Legacy of Science” exhibition. The third floor is known as the “Chromosome Forest” and shows the sequencing of human DNA. Also on this floor are the “Zero Gravity”, “Space Academy” and “Marvel Superheroes” exhibitions.
