The culture of pintxos
The restaurant is located in the heart of Valencia, just steps from the Plaza de la Reina. It is a member of the Sagardi Group, a collection of Basque restaurants that are known for their authentic cuisine and lively atmosphere.
The restaurant was founded in 2010 by Andoni Luis Aduriz, a renowned Basque chef.
The name “Sagardí” means “vineyard” in Basque. The restaurant has won several awards, including the Bib Gourmand award from the Michelin Guide.
SAGARDI Valencia Centro has been the great benchmark for Basque cuisine in Valencia for years, a restaurant divided into two spaces: the ground floor with the classic San Sebastian pintxos bar and the grill dining room, presided over by a majestic oak charcoal grill.
The menu at Sagardi Valencia features a wide variety of Basque dishes, including pintxos (small skewered snacks), grilled meats and fish, and traditional stews.
The restaurant also has a extensive wine list, with over 300 wines from Spain and around the world.
Sagardi Valencia is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, and it is often crowded, especially on weekends.
